If so, the presentations in this course from renowned experts are uniquely designed to highlight for clinicians the most recent perspectives and findings in endometriosis research and treatment. Their presentations cover current knowledge of the environmental, immune, and endocrine components of the disease, risks for autoimmune diseases and cancer, and the most current surgical, medical, immune, and integrative therapies. These presentations were part of the CME Clinician Program at the Endometriosis Association 25th Anniversary Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, October 7, 2005.

Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Better understand the role of hormonally-active chemicals in humans, with consideration given to women who are prone to endometriosis and related illnesses. Update their knowledge of cancers prevalent in women with endometriosis and how to assess risk. Enhance their knowledge of diagnosis and treatment approaches for endometriosis with new insights on the disease and the patient experience of it. Update their knowledge of new surgical techniques in the treatment of endometriosis, detection, and intervention. Describe the variety of medical therapies available—including the newest—for the treatment of endometriosis. Consider treatment of the immune components of endometriosis.
